In cooperation with the School of Arts at the University of Nova Gorica and the ADRIART project, RogLab will continue with the international workshop on three-dimensional printing with environment-specific interactions entitled Multitude Manifestations of Rog: A 3D-materializing workshop with site-specific interventions. This intensive workshop will take place between January 10th and 12th.

The introduction to the workshop took place in December 2012

The workshop will guide the participants through the process of de- and re-construction of the logotype concept. With the use of the prototyping algorithm, they will also question the (numerous) identities of the former Rog factory. Following a one-month (online) research study into the practices and discourses on Rog, its revitalization and learning about parametric three-dimensional modeling and printing, the participants will meet at the intensive three-day workshop that will take place in RogLab between January 10th and 12th, 2013. The final products of the workshop will offer specific redefinitions of the concept of the logotype as well as of Rog as such. The quick prototyping technology is not limited merely to the (creative) industry, for, in this case, it will offer the opportunity to (re)invent and conform the culturaly conditionned ideas and make the various (individual or collective) self-definitions more tangible.
