Technically enhanced fashion is a big topic for both science and fiction.
Our superheroes have used technically enhanced super fashion since forever and science has been exploring it for quite a while as well. We have seen intelligent sportswear, health-monitoring jackets and multimedia clothing. Now it’s up to you to create your own “couture digital” and to learn how electronics and textiles can be mixed together.

Create textile sensors, sew flexible circuits and get started with on cloth computing.
On the first day of the “Couture Digitale” workshop, you will learn how to create sensors and circuits with needle and thread as well as how to process sensor values with on cloth micro electronics. You will work on tutorial projects that will provide you with all the skills required to create your first electronic piece of fashion.

Create your own piece of electronic fashion in just four hours.
The second day of the workshop will be all about your own ideas for digital fashion and putting those ideas into action. You will group up into small teams and work on your first “couture digitale” project. You will only have four hours’ time for this, so keep it short and simple and get started.
