SonicPartner_macro™, Dancing and drawing robot

The autonomous robot platform SonicPartner_macro™ receives music via a Bluetooth receiver and transmits it while moving around the space. The robot has programmed basic behaviour (e.g. avoiding obstacles), electronics based on the atmel chip and is compatible with the open code arduino platform. The behaviour of the SonicPartner_macro™ can be reprogrammed in accordance to our needs and desires. The project was co-produced by f18institut Hamburg.

DANCING AND DRAWING ROBOT

The dancing and drawing robot moves with the aid of three legs/pens and a motor that vibrates and thus propels the robot in its independent drawing dance. While assembling the robot, we learn about the basics of mechanics and electronics and electro-mechanic processes. The first prototypes were manufactured and tested at a workshop for children and youth in RogLab.
